For studios and post houses

The secure back lot for post‑production.

Your media vault, live review sessions, and remote edit bays behind one login. Every stream is authorized, and every frame can be traced back to the person who watched it.

Real-time live review Native Mac and browser clients Per-viewer leak attribution Single sign-on ready

One platform

Ingest. Remote. Review. Without stitching five tools together.

Studios run on a patchwork of file shares, screen-share apps, and review links that leak. VaultCast replaces the patchwork with one authorized workspace built for picture, and every capability in it is individually enforceable by policy.

Review Room

Bring the client into the suite, not into a screen share.

Run a live session with every camera and the cutting room on one stage. The director calls the shots, and every viewer sees picture in real time.

  • ✓
Director and User views. The director controls the program while viewers get a clean picture.
  • ✓
Multiview stage. Drag up to four feeds onto the stage, side by side.
  • ✓
Any source. Cameras, hardware encoders, or a region of an edit bay's screen.
  • ✓
Shared cameras. Share a camera into another room without re-cabling.

Control Room

Every camera on set, on one wall, from anywhere.

A multiviewer for producers and directors who are not in the building. Point your encoders at VaultCast and watch every camera at once, with the signal health a control room expects.

  • ✓
The whole wall. Every camera at once, with full motion on the four you choose and key frames on the rest to save bandwidth.
  • ✓
Signal health per camera. Picture, bitrate, loss, and audio levels, with a MOS flag when a camera sends no sound.
  • ✓
Wall, 1 + N, or single. Each person lays out their own wall and listens to the camera they pick.
  • ✓
Its own access. Grant Viewer or Producer separately from Review Room. Every monitor carries the viewer's watermark.

Remote

Your edit bay, wherever your editor is.

Low-latency remote control of the machines that do the work. Open several at once, invite a colleague to watch or take the wheel, and hand the session back with one click.

  • ✓
Native Mac client and browser. Full keyboard capture, so shortcuts reach the bay, not your laptop.
  • ✓
Tabs for every machine. Jump between bays without reconnecting.
  • ✓
Co-control and viewers. Supervise, teach, or troubleshoot together.

Vault

Every clip playable. Every drive accounted for.

VaultCast makes a lightweight proxy of your footage for convenient playback, so anyone you grant can review it in the browser while the camera originals stay put. Drives and tapes on the shelf are tracked separately. You see where they are and who had them, not what is on them.

  • ✓
Proxies for playback. Review in the browser without pulling the camera originals.
  • ✓
Physical asset tracking. Barcode, photo, location, and history for every drive and tape on the shelf.
  • ✓
Transcripts. Transcribe any clip with one click, on your own server. No audio goes to an outside service, and the language is detected for you.

Editor In development

Rough-cut in the browser. Keep cutting in your suite.

Cut selects and stringouts from the proxies in your Vault, with the Source and Record monitors, marks and trims an editor already knows. When the rough cut is ready, the editor picks it up in their Non-Linear Editor.

  • ✓
Familiar editing. Mark in and out, insert and overwrite, ripple and roll trims, match frame, with the usual keyboard shortcuts.
  • ✓
Edit from the transcript. Transcribe any clip with one click. It's done on your own server, so the audio stays private. Click a word to find its frame, or select a line to mark it and drag it to the timeline.
  • ✓
Find it by what was said. Search every transcript and reviewer note in a folder at once. Import and export SRT or WebVTT.
  • ✓
Hands off cleanly. Export an EDL or XML that opens in your Non-Linear Editor, so the edit carries on where the rough cut left off.
  • ✓
Kept protected. Clips stay encrypted on the editor's computer, and every monitor carries the viewer's watermark.

Capabilities

Built for how post actually works.

◉

Live multicam review

Real-time picture for every participant, with a director in control.

▣

Screen to review

Stream part of an edit bay's screen straight into a review session.

⌘

Real keyboard

Editing shortcuts go to the bay, not to your browser.

⧉

Clipboard sync

Copy on your laptop, paste in the bay, and back again.

↺

Replay

Record a sequence of keystrokes and clicks once, then replay it on any bay with a shortcut.

⚙

Feature-level policy

Turn each module on for your organization, then grant it person by person.

▤

Physical asset tracking

Barcode, photograph, and track every drive and tape.

⇅

One-click install

Signed installers that keep themselves up to date.

⚿

Single sign-on

Sign in with your organization's identity provider.

Security

Unreleased picture deserves better than a review link.

VaultCast was designed for content that cannot leak. Access is granted per person and per machine, and every viewing session is invisibly marked to the viewer.

1

Traceable to the viewer

A leaked frame or screen recording points back to the account that watched it.

2

Access by grant, not by link

Nobody sees a stream or a machine without being granted that specific room or bay.

3

Exclusive machine locks

Reserve a bay so that even an administrator can't drop into the middle of a session.

4

Every feature enforced by policy

Each module is switched on for your organization and then granted person by person, with read or read/write levels. Inside Remote, clipboard, file transfer, printing, viewers, and co-control each have their own switch, and the enforcement happens on the machine itself. If a feature isn't granted, it isn't there.

5

Idle sessions close themselves

Remote sessions that go quiet end automatically.

See your own footage in a VaultCast Review Room.

We'll set up a session with your bays and your picture, so you can judge it on real work.
